Job summary

Air Wisconsin Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Training Instructor to develop, deliver, and continuously improve technical training for maintenance personnel. You will create safe learning environments, apply adult-learning principles, and keep materials aligned with relevant regulations.

The role includes travel up to 25% to maintenance and contract bases, with a focus on keeping curricula current and effective for day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma and aviation training certifications.
• Experience with adult learning principles and curriculum development.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with courseware tooling.
• Licenses in aviation maintenance as listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe and secure operating environment.
• Implements adult learning theory within the Maintenance Training Department.
• Analyzes data to improve training curricula.
• Develops and maintains training materials and aids.
• Serves as Cockpit Trainer/Examiner for Run/Taxi and Tow operations.
• Operator/Instructor for simulator and Run/Taxi examiner certifications.
• Delivers Run/Taxi Initial and Left Seat Qualification Training.
• Ensures courses are accurate and relevant to daily work.
• Coordinates with managers to ensure training concurrency.
• Maintains compliance with IATA, CFR 49, OSHA, FAR, DOT, EPA.
