Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Level II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport systems and controls. You'll handle reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks while ensuring detailed CMMS documentation and safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine corrective actions.
• Communicate critical equipment conditions and updates to the Site Manager.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics to perform tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, and related components.
• Assist with identifying root causes of recurring failures and recommend actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with a diverse team.
