Job summary

VSE is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in California. You will perform assigned tasks under the shop Lead, ensuring work complies with technical and regulatory data and quality policies.

The role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work with calibrated shop tools. You will assist aviation technicians with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and component repairs, while gaining knowledge through on-the-job training and self-study.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Good verbal/written/listening interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Basic electrical, mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work assignments as determined by shop Lead.
• Ensure all work follows approved technical and regulatory data.
• Record information and comply with inspection procedures and quality policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper tool calibration.
• Assist technicians with maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
• Acquire knowledge through OJT and self-study for repetitive maintenance.
