West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Grand Junction, CO. The role covers troubleshooting, panel removal/installation, and inspections on civilian aircraft within a fast-paced MRO environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe license required; Powerplant license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance experience; corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• 4–6+ years aviation maintenance experience; full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments.
• 6+ years aviation maintenance; extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components.
• Assist in aircraft movement and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Use basic computer skills to access electronic training, manuals and maintenance data bases.
• Communicate in English.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.
