Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Grand Junction, CO. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of sophisticated civilian aircraft, with opportunities for growth across AMT levels I–IV.

Candidates should hold an Airframe or Powerplant license and have growing experience in aviation maintenance. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits, including health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience in aviation, avionics or related.
• 2–4 years of aviation maintenance experience; corporate aircraft experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system and component issues.
• Assist in engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate clearly in English.
