Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Grand Junction, CO for a full-time, on-site role. The AMT will perform general mechanical tasks, remove/install panels, troubleshoot systems, defuel, and assist with engine work and ground operations.

Qualified candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent and an Airframe/Powerplant license with varying experience levels. Benefits start on day one and include medical, dental, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required (I/II/III) with preferred Airframe license.
• 0–2 years for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III/IV; corporate aircraft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and perform engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing/performance runs.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities and tooling.
