Job summary

Southeast Airport Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to support the maintenance, inspection, and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges at LAX. The role emphasizes safe, reliable operations in a live airport setting with strict adherence to regulations.

You will perform preventive and emergency maintenance, work with a skilled team, and participate in safety meetings. Ability to obtain airport badges and work flexible shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year mechanical maintenance experience or experience with BHS/PBB systems.
• Ability to obtain Airport Security Badging and a valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational components.
• Clear jams and inspect conveyors to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records.
• Comply with TSA, CBP, LAWA, and company safety and security standards.
