Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a BHS and PBB Maintenance Technician to support maintenance at the AVL Airport. The role focuses on ensuring baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges operate safely and efficiently, with opportunities to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.

The position requires hands-on maintenance, ability to read schematics, and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must possess Government ID and social security card.
Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
Must have reliable transportation.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on baggage handling systems to ensure conveyors, motors, scanners, and components operate correctly.
Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults.
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Adjust or calibrate machinery as necessary.
Monitor system performance and perform quality checks.
Support with basic maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and housekeeping.
