Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Level II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport operations systems. You will document activities in the CMMS and handle reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with 3+ years’ experience and the ability to obtain airport security clearance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Promptly communicate critical equipment conditions, operational impacts, and maintenance updates to the Site Manager.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders to perform required service tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures to minimize operational downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other mechanical and electrical components.
• Assist with identifying root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to AOA Maintenance Technician I employees as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
