Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft ground support equipment including passenger loading bridges and gate services. You will inspect parts, replace defective components, and perform full electrical and control system repairs.

The role requires reading manufacturer instructions, working on-site at the airport ramp, and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions for repair and maintenance.
• Mechanic skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems; PLC control knowledge a plus.
• Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions; strong communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain passenger loading bridges/gate services per specs and manuals.
• Dismantle devices to access faulty parts; inspect and replace as needed.
• Test devices, adjust parts, and repair electrical/control systems.
• Perform preventive, corrective, predictive and emergency maintenance; may require 24-hour availability.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts usage and time spent in CMMS.
• Adhere to safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out and PPE requirements.
