Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on airport facility systems. The role focuses on detailing documentation in CMMS and responding to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics, and to work safely in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Promptly communicate critical equipment conditions, operational impacts, and maintenance updates to the Site Manager.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders to perform required service tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, VFDs, and other components.
