Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician Level II to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport operations systems and controls. You will manage reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks, and ensure detailed documentation within the CMMS.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical and electrical background, read blueprints and electrical schematics, and communicate updates to the Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 3+ years’ experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability to work day or night shift including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems and controls.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions in the CMMS.
• Execute reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including emergency response.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and determine corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to AOA Maintenance Technician I as needed.
