Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, drive equipment uptime, and support production goals at our Orangeburg, NY site. You will manage a team of technicians, coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective work, and partner with multiple teams to meet safety and reliability targets. The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on problem solving, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and production uptime.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work to support operational needs.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and support repairs of production equipment and facility systems.
• Order parts, materials, and supplies to support maintenance operations.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and other teams to meet business objectives.
• Manage hazardous materials and wastewater processes in compliance with regulations.
• Support emergency response activities and equipment-related escalations.
• Conduct employee performance reviews, training, and development activities.
• Promote a safe, organized workplace and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and external service providers.
