Job summary

Chromalloy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance, maximize uptime, and guide a diverse team toward safe, reliable operations.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, supervise technicians, coordinate with Engineering and Operations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while driving continuous improvement. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years in maintenance, facilities, or related technical experience with supervisory experience.
• Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Working knowledge of workplace safety, hazardous-material, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team and establish work priorities, assignments, and performance expectations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, machinery, tools, and facility systems.
• Maximize equipment uptime and ensure maintenance activities support production schedules.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs in partnership with Engineering and Operations.
• Direct equipment installation, dismantling, assembly, rebuilding, and repurposing.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, requisitions, and availability.
• Support facility expansion and equipment planning with site leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment performance.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to guide maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build team capability through cross-training, coaching, performance management, and technical development.
• Promote Chromalloy’s safety policies, quality standards, and Code of Ethical Standards.
• Coordinate with environmental and regulatory agencies as needed.
