Job summary

United Airlines is seeking an experienced Technical Operations professional to represent the station team and coordinate maintenance activities. You will liaise with Maintenance Control, Flight Crews, and other stations to ensure aircraft stay on schedule and safe for service.

Responsibilities include coordinating discrepancy recovery, updating logs, and communicating delays. A senior-level candidate will drive efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA A&P Certificate.
  • 5 years in aircraft maintenance.
  • Contract and regulatory experience.
  • Meets or exceeds operational performance goals including on-time performance, maintenance check span, productivity & safety objectives.
  • Identifies the need for change and executes improvements with appropriate resources.
  • Builds and maintains productive work environment for labor groups and management.
  • Effective communication across all levels with the team.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and FAA regulations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and coordinate recovery of maintenance discrepancies initiated by inbound/outbound flight crews.
  • Notify and communicate status of aircraft out of service or delays to Maintenance Control and Local Operations.
  • Coordinate and track planned maintenance efforts for thru flights.
  • Update TOC and AMIS logs for aircraft that are out of service or under maintenance.
  • Coordinate station supplier requirements to support maintenance activities.
  • Identify and communicate maintenance troubleshooting and repair procedures as required.
  • Ensure delay reports are entered and analyzed.

Skills

5 years in aircraft maintenance
Contract and regulatory experience
Effective communication
Knowledge of maintenance operations
FAA regulations understanding

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
FAA A&P Certificate
