Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field preferred.
• FAA A&P Certification required.
• Professional certifications may substitute for the degree.
• 3 years direct work experience as FAA-certified A&P Maintenance Technician or Inspector.
• Willing and able to teach day or evening classes at multiple sites around the city.
• Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer usage and software.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and laboratories in aviation maintenance as assigned.
• Advise students and participate in academic advising activities as needed.
• Participate in professional development and institutional service.
• Support program accreditation and curriculum review to ensure industry standards are met.
