The position is a full-time, 12-month faculty role located on the Aviation Academy Campus in Paulding County, with a schedule varying by semester and open until filled.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P ratings required.
• Experience as an aviation maintenance technician.
• Associate degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance or related field.
• Experience teaching Aviation Maintenance.
• Experience with program assessments.
• FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach all courses in the Aviation Maintenance curriculum.
• Instruct in Airframe, Powerplant and General Aviation.
• Ensure safety compliance in labs and hangar per EPA/OSHA.
• Develop and implement FAA-compliant instructional delivery for face-to-face, online and lab settings.
