LOGMET is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic Helper to assist certified mechanics with servicing and repairing aircraft and engines. The role involves handling tools, performing inspections, and supporting maintenance tasks to ensure readiness for flight. Applicants should have at least 1 year of related experience or be enrolled in an aviation tech program.

U.S. citizenship is required; strong English communication and basic computer skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year aircraft related mechanical experience or current enrollment in Aviation Tech/Trade program.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools and equipment listed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Aircraft Mechanics in servicing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft and engines.
• Adjust and replace parts such as control cables, fuel tanks, tires, batteries, and filters.
• Remove and replace inspection plates, cowling, engine covers for access and inspection.
• Assist in towing and jacking aircraft.
• Document maintenance per QA and regulatory requirements.
