Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. The role requires reading manufacturer manuals, service bulletins, and drawings to determine repair methods and performing rig/testing of flight control surfaces.

Essential duties include troubleshooting landing gear, flight controls, engines, and hydraulic/air-conditioning systems, with emphasis on safety, DOT/FAA compliance, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbally communicate).
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and specifications.
• Ability to operate ground support equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance work.
• Read and interpret manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Rig and test flight control surfaces and systems.
• Complete OJT forms and required reading.
• Maintain timely job completion and attendance.
