Job summary

Aero is seeking a Maintenance Controller in Florida to oversee daily fleet maintenance, ensuring airworthiness under CAMP and CFRs. You will coordinate with Maintenance Control, DOM, flight crews and contractors, guiding servicing, repairs, and compliance with FAA requirements.

Ideal candidates have an A&P license, strong troubleshooting skills, and 2+ years on large aircraft, with 3–5 years on Embraer/Gulfstream types. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• A&P license valid and current.
• 2+ years of maintenance on large aircraft.
• 3–5 years on Embraer 135/145/600 or Gulfstream GIV preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (incl. international).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to maintenance and flight crews on servicing and alteration of aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
• Perform work per CAMP, GMM policies, manufacturer manuals, and FAA requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Act as liaison for maintenance department and communicate with Operations and Flight Crews.
• Primary contact for mechanical discrepancies affecting daily operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance providers to address discrepancies and planned events.
• Arrange travel for AOG aircraft for mechanics/engineers.
• Manage discrepancies in the tracking system.
• Determine corrective actions based on service history and manuals.
• Promote teamwork and uphold safety procedures.
• Perform tasks safely per regulations and internal procedures.
• Occasionally perform Technician duties on-site when needed.
