Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Fleet Manager for Embraer ERJ 135/145 at the Smyrna, TN location. The role focuses on analyzing deficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring safety and reliability across the regional jet fleet.

Ideal candidates hold FAA A&P certification, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, and strong root-cause analysis and leadership skills. The position offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and travel requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional, or equivalent military).
• Ability to read/interpret FAA regulations and maintenance docs in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel as needed.
• Willing to pass DOT drug screening and FAA random testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to determine failure modes.
• Develop cost-effective corrective action plans to address deficiencies.
• Review, prioritize, and track prevention strategies to reduce delays.
• Reduce mechanical failures and aircraft downtime while improving reliability.
• Coordinate with leadership to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
