Job summary

Propulsion Technologies International, LLC (PTI) in Miramar, FL is hiring a Machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machines to repair aviation components. You will read blueprints and CAD/CAM files, measure parts with precision tools, and work with engineering on repairs.

You must have 1–2 years' related experience, read/write English, and be a US citizen or permanent resident; FAA‑covered position with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience or training.
• US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow procedures and document work.
• Basic math and computer skills; interpret AWI and other docs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, CAD/CAM files and technical data.
• Set up and operate manual, CNC and automatic machine tools.
• Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces.
• Monitor machine feed and speeds during operation.
• Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind parts to spec.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and document results.
• Collaborate with engineering on repairs and modifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
