Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a Machinist to repair and modify aircraft parts and tools using welding, machining and fabrication techniques per blueprints and drawings. The role requires reading blueprints, following FAA guidance, and maintaining documentation while working with safety equipment.

The position offers opportunities to travel for road trips within the United States and abroad, with training and advancement through multiple Machinist levels and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in machining or welding or equivalent is required.
• One year machining and/or welding experience preferred.
• Two years machining and/or welding experience preferred for higher level.
• Three years machining and/or welding experience preferred for Machinist III.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair aircraft and non-aircraft tools and parts per blueprints and specs.
• Prepare and maintain work orders, purchase orders and documentation.
• Maintain and clean equipment and shop area.
• Stay current on FAA, FARs and industry practices through training and reading.
• Be available for alternate shifts and travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed.
• Assist others in interpreting policies and regulations.
