Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a Fabrication Specialist to fabricate aircraft parts and assemblies in line with the PMA Manual, FAA requirements, and Duncan procedures in a clean, safe environment. The role involves reading drawings, performing sheet metal and composite fabrication, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will follow approved practices, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain current industry and FAA knowledge to support timely production and quality

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Fabricates parts and assemblies with precision.
• Maintains compliance with FAA and internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates parts from sheet metal, extruded aluminum, composites per FAA docs and specs.
• Prepares parts for welding, riveting and assembly per procedures.
• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications.
• Documents process steps on PMA inspection sheets; maintains training log.
• Applies corrosion control processes after part completion.
• Performs basic troubleshooting.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and FAA requirements.
