Job description

Aviation Logistics Management Specialist (Senior)

Amentum is seeking an Aviation Logistics Management Specialist (Senior) to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure, potentially across multiple locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge in aviation logistics management and records keeping.
• Knowledge of Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation.
• Understanding of Army aviation logistics operations and support unit organization in sustaining operations.
• Extensive knowledge of the Army aviation enterprise with the ability to provide technical advisory services for aircraft equipment modifications.
• Ability to evaluate work against established goals and objectives.
• Working knowledge of aircraft characteristics, systems, and components relevant to aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance units.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Must have an active Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
• Note: US Citizenship is required for TS clearance eligibility.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Logistics or a related field from an accredited institution, with four years of military experience in Aviation Maintenance; or
• Associate degree in Aviation Logistics or a related field, with eight years of military experience in Aviation Maintenance; or
• Military or civilian equivalent training with ten years of relevant experience.
