Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Central Load Planning Agent for the Amazon Air Network Control Center in the United States. The role focuses on aircraft weight and balance, container weights, and fuel load, ensuring accurate load plans and clear communication with gateways and air carriers.

Partner with operational leaders and carrier teams to maintain safety and regulatory compliance. A rotating schedule including nights and weekends is required; FAA/DHS background checks must be cleared.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 1+ years of supply chain experience.
• Driver's license.
• 2+ years of experience in Aircraft Load Planning or Weight and Balance Operations or related fields.
• Must pass FAA and DHS background checks for SIDA access.
• Ability to work rotating, flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• English literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver load planning guidance for complex, multi-flight operations and communicate container inventory and special loads to gateways and stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced load planning knowledge to navigate complex operational scenarios.
• Provide direction to Gateway Operations Leaders to ensure load accuracy per the plan.
• Mentor gateway operations as needed and ensure creation/distribution of weight and balance calculations to flight crews.
• Use Amazon Air systems to oversee load planning operations and propose improvements.
• Provide SME expertise to local gateways, NCC operations and carrier partners.
• Ensure accurate production of assigned load plans and manage workload including payload, weights, fuel and ULD types.
