Job summary

SkyWest Airlines is seeking an IT Business Analyst to design, develop, and implement software applications that improve core business processes across the airline. You will work with business partners and software engineers to create practical solutions while upholding safety and on-time performance standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Aviation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Visio) and process documentation recommended.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Shadow business partners to identify and document existing business processes.
• Collaborate with business partners and software engineers to design software solutions.
• Design user interfaces for in-house applications.
• Document requirements for software engineers.
• Present software solutions for business partner approval.
• Assist during development and integration testing of software.
• Support user acceptance testing and implementation as needed.
