Job summary

Superior Flight School in Kennesaw, GA seeks a part-time Procurement & Inventory Clerk to manage daily purchasing, vendor coordination, and stocking for aviation and maintenance parts. You will receive materials, maintain inventory records, and issue components to support aircraft maintenance operations.

This role combines procurement with inventory control to ensure part availability, compliance with safety standards, and smooth maintenance operations across our locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One-year experience in aviation inventory control, parts, and purchasing.
• Talon RMS systems experience preferred.
• Computer-proficient in Microsoft Office and general internet applications.
• Analytical, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate computerized inventory and resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Move repairable materials to/from repair vendors and company shops.
• Ensure timely and accurate receipt of inbound purchases and repairs.
• Assist with quarterly inventory counts and maintain inventory values for all locations.
• Resolve shipping/receiving problems and report to supervisor.
• Comply with safety and departmental standards.
• Ensure inventory is properly accounted for and binned in correct locations.
• Prepare materials for daily maintenance readiness.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with shipping and storage of hazardous materials.
• Overlap parts ordering/receiving and assist with monthly/year-end counts.
• Source and evaluate vendors for price and reliability; assist with spend reporting.
• Maintain vendor database and compliance documents.
