Job summary

The Modeling & Analytics Specialist at VSE Aviation, Inc. partners with product line leadership to monitor market factors, demand signals, and risk exposure across inventories.

You will translate data into actionable insights and support investment decisions with robust valuation models. Responsibilities include maintaining modeling tools, building scenario analyses, and collaborating with Finance, Asset Management, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and timely analytics for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business analytics, economics or related field.
• OR an additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of relevant/technical work experience.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar).
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track market factors, trends, and demand signals affecting the value of company inventories by product line.
• Maintain and enhance financial/valuation models used to assess inventory investment performance.
• Translate market and valuation data into clear recommendations for product line teams on inventory actions.
• Present findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership on a recurring basis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Asset Management, and product line stakeholders to apply consistent data definitions and reporting standards.
