VSE Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Modeling & Analytics Specialist to support asset management by tracking, analyzing, and modeling market value, demand trends, and risk exposure of inventories.

You will translate market intelligence into actionable insights for product line leadership and collaborate to ensure investment decisions are data-driven. The role covers maintaining and enhancing modeling tools, developing scenarios for pricing and investments, and ensuring outputs reflect current market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business analytics, economics or related field.
• OR an additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of relevant/technical work experience.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Market & Value Tracking: monitor market factors, trends, and demand signals affecting inventory value by product line.
• Analytics & Modeling: maintain and enhance financial/valuation models; build bid/margin scenario models.
• Investment & Risk Support: translate market data into recommendations for inventory actions; support bid analyses.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: provide analytics support to product line teams; present findings to leadership.
• Tool Support: maintain modeling tools, improve methodology, document logic.
