Job summary

Western Aircraft, Inc. is seeking an Interior Sales Manager to lead interior refurbishment and modification projects for business and Special Mission aircraft. You will develop proposals, design schemes, and quotes while managing relationships with suppliers.

Strong knowledge of interior completion and manufacturing operations is essential. Expect travel to meet clients and coordinate with the MRO Sales team.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years’ experience in corporate/VIP interior completions
• Three (3) years’ leadership in interior or completion shop
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft interior completion, production and manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with industry vendors, regulations for interiors and timely, competitive delivery
• Ability to read, understand and utilize blueprints in fabrication
• Experience with interior install including removal/replacement of components
• Experience with paint, wood finishing, and soft goods preferred
• Strong customer service skills and executive presence

Responsibilities

• Liaison with clients on Interior Program design projects and travel as needed
• Work with MRO Sales to identify new interior business and close sales
• Generate proposals and quotes for refurbishment and modification projects
• Prepare work packages/SOW based on customer needs
• Research and cost parts, labor and outside services for projects
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate quotes and profitability targets
• Maintain costing and pricing data for interior goods
• Prepare proposal summaries and coordinate quote approvals
• Develop relationships with OEM and vendor partners to minimize cost
• Upsell products and services where possible
• Maintain customer data in Salesforce.com
• Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with the sales team
• Participate in department and company meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
