Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field from a CIDA‑accredited program.
• 3+ years of professional interior design experience; aviation projects preferred.
• NCIDQ certification or licensure preferred, or actively pursuing.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility, interior construction, and industry standards.
• Strong design, space planning, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to interior design efforts for aviation projects through all design and documentation phases.
• Develop concepts, space plans, finish palettes, material selections, and furniture solutions.
• Translate concepts into durable environments supporting passenger experience and airport operations.
• Prepare and coordinate interior design drawings, specifications, details, schedules, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to integrate interior design with building systems.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Research and select materials, finishes, furnishings based on aesthetics, performance, and budget.
• Support construction administration including submittals and RFIs.
