Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) seeks an Instructor or Assistant Professor – Aviation Instructor/Program Coordinator to develop and coordinate aviation programs and teach flight-related courses at the Lehigh Valley International Airport off-campus site. The role requires delivering instruction face-to-face, online, and remote, with coordination duties across aviation faculty.

Applicants should meet FAA Part 141 requirements; a CFI/CFII/MEI or IGI/AGI credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• FAA Part 141.33(a)(3) regulations compliance is required.
• CFI/CFII/MEI or other FAA credentials considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate aviation programs and teach flight-related courses.
• Coordinate with the Chief Flight Instructor for program operation.
• Maintain academic records and participate in accreditation efforts.
• Advise students and recruit for aviation programs.
• Teach using multiple modalities including face-to-face, online, and remote.
