Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced civil engineer to produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and plans for aviation-related infrastructure projects in Southern California. You will work with the project manager to research, develop calculations, and deliver high-quality documents within schedule and budget.

The role involves mentoring junior staff, coordinating with clients and partners, and contributing to multiple disciplines on complex multi-project efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, ensure schedule and budget adherence.
• Assist in marketing and proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects.
• Oversee team deliverables and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate technical aspects with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
