Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a senior engineer to perform aviation-related civil design, planning, documentation, and construction support for large hubs in Southern California. You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients, and manage design deliverables using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Office tools.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6+ years of experience, or advanced degrees with fewer years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of project team's work within discipline.
• Guide and mentor team to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
