Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level II at IND Airport to repair and maintain ground support equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and related machinery. This full-time position requires hands-on mechanical expertise and a strong commitment to safety.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documenting work orders while adhering to PrimeFlight customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verified experience required.
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Service ground equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers and describe work to be done on each piece.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, electrical, brakes and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair undercarriages, wheels and tires.
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance and safety.
• Complete paperwork and track parts for each job.
• Follow safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
