Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a GSE Supervisor in Newark, NJ to lead maintenance support for aviation ground service equipment. You will respond to service requests, manage preventive maintenance, and conduct repairs while ensuring safety and budget adherence.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years in automotive/heavy equipment maintenance with supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license. Airport security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in automotive and heavy equipment maintenance with supervision experience.
• Ability to work with customers and team in a fast-paced aviation environment.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
• US work authorization if located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt response to equipment service requests (vehicles, belt loaders, etc.).
• Understand Preventative Maintenance Programs and required documentation.
• Complete equipment repairs following a disciplined schedule.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Understand company purchasing policies to receive parts and ensure security of supplies.
• Set up equipment shipments and monitor deliveries.
• Ability to work within the local station maintenance budget.
• Exhibit good communication skills and be self-motivated to work independently.
• Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance related to GSE maintenance.
