Job summary

Cutter Aviation in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced maintenance technician to provide maintenance support for aviation ground service equipment, fuel trucks, and related mechanical systems. The role requires troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, recordkeeping, and coordination with audits.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of heavy mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds in a hangar environment, with strong customer service and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of heavy mechanical experience with vehicles and other mechanical equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Experience as a Line Service Attendant is an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to work in a hangar environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform troubleshooting, preventative and routine maintenance on Line Service ground support equipment and machinery.
• Ensure safety standards for working around aircraft and facilities.
• Maintain safety and care of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with Phillips 66 for audits when needed.
• Support Line Service crew as back-up as required.
• Comply with airport rules and FAA/AOA requirements.
• Train new Line Service staff on inspections and safe operation.
• Keep records of maintenance performed and coordinate with General Manager on services.
• Inspect facilities and structures and manage contractors for repairs.
• Maintain OSHA compliance for mechanical systems.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal per EPA rules.
• Periodic checks of equipment and facilities with proper documentation.
