Job summary

Cutter Aviation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sheet Metal/Structural Technician to join the Maintenance team. You will perform routine and non-routine repairs on aircraft, focusing on sheet metal work, riveting, patching, and corrosion prevention while ensuring FAA and manufacturer standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sheet metal and some composites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine structural repairs per FAA standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframes per FAA and manufacturer standards.
  • Sheet metal work including riveting, patching, corrosion prevention, priming and painting.
  • Install optional equipment per customer requests.
  • Log repair entries and comply with FAA paperwork neatly.
  • Work overtime and on emergency call duty as needed.
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals to determine method.
  • Assist in cleaning and policing hangar/work areas.
  • Facility maintenance and repairs as directed.
