Job summary

Ascension FBO in Wheeling, IL, is seeking a Line Service Technician to support aviation ground operations. In this hands-on role you will fuel, tow, wing walk, marshal aircraft, and provide friendly, professional service to pilots, crew and passengers. Training is provided, no prior aviation experience required.

You will perform safety-driven duties, inspect equipment, keep ramps clean, and report hazards. The schedule is typically 1:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven customer-service and communication abilities.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in new-hire and recurrent training.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a high level of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
• Fuel, tow, wing walk, and provide general ground support for various types of aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
• Marshal arriving and departing aircraft safely.
• Greet pilots, crew members, and passengers in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities and document findings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and debris-free ramps, hangars, and facilities.
• Communicate customer feedback and service needs to the appropriate Ascension FBO team members.
• Perform lawn care, janitorial, and general facility-maintenance duties as assigned.
• Immediately report safety incidents, equipment concerns, or potential hazards to management.
• Initiate emergency and incident-response procedures when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
