Job summary

Avflight Akron-Canton is seeking a Line Services Technician to provide fuel, oil, hangar and tie-down storage, lavatory service, courtesy car transportation, luggage handling and other aircraft handling duties. You will support ramp operations, aircraft cleaning, and general services to crews and departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent acceptable.
• 2 years related aviation experience preferred.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required; valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling and de-icing of aircraft according to standards.
• Direct aircraft and vehicle movements on ramp and secure parked aircraft.
• Operate and service fuel trucks and ground support equipment; perform routine maintenance and checks.
• Assist with customer service and aircraft crews; provide courteous services as needed.
• Support daily fuel farm inspections and quality control checks.
• Maintain FAA, Federal, State, Local and Avflight safety policy compliance.
