Job summary

Atlantic Aviation Birmingham is seeking a Line Service Technician to join our ground support team. In this full-time role you will perform fueling/defueling, baggage handling, aircraft towing, marshalling, lavatory and potable water service, and operate ground support equipment while delivering safe, professional service.

The successful candidate will be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors across shifts including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age
• Valid state driver's license
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work outdoors and stand for long periods
• Drug-free workplace and pre-employment testing

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from tanks, vendors, and aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment including lavatory and water service carts, GPU, deice truck.
• Perform ground marshalling using aviation signals.
• Assist with aircraft scheduling and fueling for customers.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Keep buildings and grounds safe, clean, and organized.
• Assist with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits.
• Occasional travel to support another Atlantic location.
• May be assigned to other Atlantic locations based on proximity.
