Job summary

Avflight Lansing is seeking a Line Services Technician to perform fueling, de-icing, aircraft handling, and customer service on the ramp at Lansing, MI. The role supports safety and efficiency in daily operations and requires a dependable, physically capable candidate.

Responsibilities include operating fuel trucks, performing safety inspections, and maintaining facilities, with the ability to work second shift and weekends. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years related aviation experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

  • Perform fueling and de-icing of aircraft according to standards
  • Direct aircraft and vehicle movement on ramp and secure parked aircraft
  • Drive and service fuel trucks and ground support vehicles and perform maintenance as needed
  • Provide de-icing service and safety equipment use
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of areas around facilities
  • Assist aircraft crews and passengers with services as required
  • Conduct daily/ monthly fuel farm inspections and safety checks
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and company safety policies
