Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level I to repair and maintain ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks and service trucks.

You will perform advanced maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented aviation environment. The role requires 1-2 years of verified experience, own tools, valid driver's license, ability to read manuals, and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of verified experience in aviation maintenance.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to obtain FAA/RAIC/TSA/Port Authority credentials as applicable.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Record maintenance data and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and PrimeFlight standards.
