Job summary

Pacific Air Forces in Alaska is seeking a Powered Support System Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, modify and repair AGE and related equipment in accordance with technical data. You will perform preventive maintenance and operate specialized vehicles to support flight operations.

Ability to handle major repairs on AGE components and engines while adhering to safety rules and maintaining a clean work environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, troubleshoots, performs modifications and repairs to powered and non-powered AGE.
• Performs preventive maintenance on powered and non-powered AGE in accordance with technical data.
• Operates aircraft deicer trucks to assist in deicing of aircraft.
• Performs major repair, replacement, and overhaul of AGE components and engines.
• Adheres to safety rules, maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Operates AGE vehicles such as bobtails, flatbeds, shop tugs, and plow vehicles.
• Transports ground equipment between flight line and maintenance facilities; follows CTK program and supply discipline.
