Alliance Ground International is seeking a Material Handler to support fast-paced aviation operations in Chicago. You will load and unload cargo, verify counts and dimensions, and use equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to prepare shipments for flights.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with flight crew and ground crew.
• Basic math to calculate piece count, weight, and dimensions.
• Proficiency with computer systems to track cargo and enter data.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate loading and unloading of cargo from trucks.
• Check freight for piece count, weight, dimensions and documents.
• Operate basic cargo handling equipment (forklift, pallets, pallet jacks).
• Maintain inventory of freight and airline equipment in the warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.
