Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a Cargo Warehouse Agent in Detroit, MI. You will sort, load/unload cargo and US Mail, and operate a forklift and pallet jack as required.

You must be able to travel for up to three weeks of paid training, be at least 18, and hold a high school diploma or GED with a clean driver’s license. A drug screen and airport security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
• Be able to travel to complete up to 3 weeks of paid Airline Cargo Warehouse training; transportation, meals, and accommodations provided.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load/unload, and transport cargo and US Mail.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Ensure airway bill data is entered accurately and perform security screening of cargo prior to transport.
• Remove Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from in and around the cargo warehouse.
• Be on time, be prepared, and be safe.

As an AGI Cargo Warehouse Agent you must be able to

• Lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) unassisted
• Bend, kneel, and stoop on a frequent basis
• Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises

$18.00-$19.00
