Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a CDL-A licensed Driver to safely transport cargo and support airport operations. You will follow safety procedures, maintain cargo integrity, and deliver professional service to airline partners across the network.

Applicants must hold a CDL-A with hazmat endorsement and have at least six months of tractor-trailer experience, with ability to operate a 53' trailer daily. US work authorization and age 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsement and manual transmission experience.
• Six months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must obtain airport security clearance and US work authorization if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote Safety Standards: Uphold and promote the local implementation of the Safety and Security Quality Management System (SSQMS) by strictly following all relevant policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Cargo Transportation: Transport cargo using a 53' trailer between various types of aircraft and the warehouse or between warehouses. This task must be carried out while adhering to strict safety regulations and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
• Customer Service: Maintain a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with airline representatives and staff. Provide courteous and professional service while handling cargo operations.
• Other duties as assigned: Be flexible and willing to perform any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the company to meet operational needs.

Safety, Security and Compliance

Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and AGI health, safety, and security rules. Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies. Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.

Qualifications

• Hold a CDL-Class A license with manual transmission experience and a hazmat endorsement, which is required for handling hazardous materials.
• Six months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer (53' trailer) daily to handle the airport's workload efficiently.
• Minimum age of 18 and possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• The ability to obtain airport security clearance, which includes a comprehensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check.
• If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, authorization to work in Canada as defined by IRPA of 2001.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required and to carry items up and down jetway stairs.
• Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
• Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises.

Schedule

Alliance Ground International operates 24/7. Flexible schedules may be required to meet operational demands such as flight delays or cancellations. Applicants must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Adherence to company attendance policies is expected.
