Job summary

Top Source Talent, LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Product Design Engineer who will design and develop aviation fueling equipment and mechanical systems, create SolidWorks models and BOMs, perform design validation, and support ongoing R&D initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, manage ECRs/ECOs, and ensure compliance with company standards, while traveling up to 20% to sites and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 4+ years of product design experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with manufacturing drawings and BOMs; highly organized and multi-project capable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aviation fueling equipment and mechanical systems.
• Create and maintain SolidWorks models, drawings, BOMs, specifications, manuals, and other documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, design validation, and product evaluations.
• Develop new products and customer-specific modifications while supporting R&D initiatives.
• Manage ECRs and ECOs; support manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and service activities.
• Ensure compliance with design and delivery standards and contractual obligations.
