Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee Aircraft Fuelers, plan fueling operations, and ensure safety and efficiency. You will supervise teams, coordinate resources, and report on staffing and equipment status in a fast-paced airport environment.

The role requires prior fueling and supervisory experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required.
• Prior management, supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Possess/Maintain FAA required identification/seals or authorizations.
• To report any significant deficiency in our products, materials and documents.
• Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to safety and security.
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Lead Fueler.

Responsibilities

• Reviews data on incoming flights to plan work activities.
• Directs and coordinates operations for fueling/defueling services.
• Supervise Aircraft Fueling Operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Ensure the effective operation of fueling.
• Prepare and submit staffing, shift, delay and equipment reports.
• Responsible for accurate accounting and fuel transactions.
• Recommend manpower requirements.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
• Mentor other employees.
• Assist subordinates in duties.
• Ensure fair disciplinary procedures in a timely manner.

• Comply with attendance standards.
• Operate fuel trucks for customer services.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
